Here is my attempt at sharing what I have learned

Nature

By Faith vs. Through Faith

YouTube Video

Do you know the difference?

Romans 3:30 says "Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith"

Be honest with yourself. Do you truly know what God is saying here? Do you know the difference between being justified BY faith and being justified THROUGH faith? And, knowing that this verse was written by God, and after actually reading it, do you now realize that different people are justified in different ways?! Is it not true that justification is a part of salvation? Therefore, can you say you truly understand your salvation? This verse, and its meaning, is key to understanding how YOU are justified today, and how others were justified in different times.

The video gives my complete thoughts, but my notes may also be read if that's easier.

Peter

Peter denied Jesus SIX times

YouTube Video

I'm willing to bet that you have always heard that Peter denied the Lord 3 times before he was crucified, but I'm here to tell you that is wrong.

Here is a fun, yet crucial, exploration through the four accounts of Peter's denials. Along with learning the truth you will see just how God uses four seperate accounts of the same event to give a fuller picture than just one account. It also provides a key perspective into how God wants us to use and combine the four accounts when it comes to studying his word.

The video gives my complete thoughts, but my notes give a colored, visual explanantion that is easy to understand and can be used as an outline when watching the video or studying this for yourself.

About Me

I am a mid-acts dispensationalist who loves to discover new things in God's word, while also making complex topics easier to understand. To come to a knowledge of the truth one must reason out of the scriptures, wrestle with them, and have the readiness of mind to accept what God is truly saying; no matter how much it may disagree with your spiritual leaders.

Statement of faith

To be saved, all you have to do is believe. Place your faith in Christ, alone, and He will seal you with the Holy Spirit and grant you His righteousness. Jesus Christ was publicly shamed, beaten, whipped, given a crown of thorns, crucified, spit on, and stabbed all for you. He died, took your penalty by going to Torments and being seperated by God the Father, only to be raised back to life three days later and ascended far above all heavens to the right hand of the Father. What could your sinful flesh possibly do to add to that?

You dare say that wasn't enough? Do you have the audacity to believe that dunking yourself in water or eating bread or confessing your sins to a priest is necessary to complete the work started by Christ? That Christ suffering all we just mentioned wasn't enough? And that you must add your own work because God and Jesus Christ didn't do enough? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Jesus did all the work. Period. You can not add to what he did. Simply trust that. Trust that Jesus did all the work for you to be saved. Trust that it pleases God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. You are granted God's righteousness. You are justified by the faith of Christ, not your faith. Salvation is easy, religion makes it hard. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
